I recently purchased a bag of carrots that went bad before their expiration date.  I got them out of the fridge and they were mushy, smelly and just plain gross.  I emailed the company about the problem I had with their products.  They  emailed me back, apologized for the issue and let me know that they would be sending me a reimbursement.  I received a nice letter along with (2) FREE product coupons and (2) $1.00 off coupons.

Have you ever taken the time to let a company know when you have either LOVED their product or had a negative experience?   It could definitely be worth your time!

YNAB: You Need a Budget

Do you use a budget to help you gain control of your money and to give you peace of mind with your finances?  If you do or would like to start using one I would highly recommend using YNAB or You Need a Budget.  We have been using YNAB for a year and a half  and LOVE it.   My husband made the purchase and I wasn’t any too thrilled, but I have become a true believer in a written budget.   It is simple to set up and has really helped us to increase our savings.  Many people hear the word “budget” and cringe.  We are quite the opposite as we feel it is comforting to know that all our bills are covered and we know where all our money has gone for the month.

YNAB offers a 34 day trial period and if you like the program it has a one time fee of $60.00.   You don’t enter any credit card information unless you decide to purchase after your trial period is up. We knew after the first week that we were going to pay the one time fee and haven’t regretted the decision.  In fact, we easily saved $60 that first month just by being able to tell our money where to go and not making wasteful purchases.

YNAB is offering Couponing to Financial Freedom readers a 10% savings when you use THIS link.  YNAB also offers tons of online podcasts and courses through email and video that are ALL FREE!
